I've finaly caught up with myself. :P

Last night was nice. Steve and I went to the drive-ins and had a good time. The Herbie movie was really cute and sweet, and The Fantastic Four was really good. Mostly a big introduction to the characters, but it was an entertaining introduction so it didn't feel long or anything.

I have to go get the cat shaved tomorrow, which means no food for her after midnight, she's going to be so pissed off...but in the long run she'll be happier with out all those mats in her fur.

So, today I am going to just relax and try to prepare myself for the following week. I'm just way too tense, I think the emotional drain of work and school is just getting to me. Things are not as bad as my last poem makes them out to be. In fact things are never as bad as my poems make them out to be...I'm just a very emotionally extreme poet.

Ok, lets think of something happy to write about so all the people that read my journal don't think I'm a total wreck.

How about a list? Lists are fun? :)

Five Things Not Everyone Knows About Me

1. I am addicted to Yahoo games, particularly the spades room. I have always loved card games, in fact when I worked at the gaming store I actually got all the magic addicts to put down their decks and play things like Hearts, Spades, Rummy, and Pitch. I even ran a Uno tournament once! lol

2. I really enjoy playing Texas Holdum' on-line. I don't think I would want to play for real money, but I have made and lost thousands of fake dollars on Pokerstars. My highest amount won so far is 16,000. Then I got silly and lost it all and am back up to about 5 or 6 thousand.

3. When I was 15 or so I wrote a poem that was actually commissioned for a wedding. I'll have to dig that one out and post it this week to prove I can write happy things too. ;)

4. I have started and abandoned 3 different novels. One is starting to call out to me again though and when my English class is done I may start working on it again.

5. As a kid I used to create elaborate fantasies and then act them out. I used to pretend that I was kidnapped and had to escape my bedroom without touching the floor that was either electrified or turned to lava or some other form of certain death. I would go into the woods behind my house and search for Bigfoot or aliens. Once at a church picnic I was convinced that some foam on the river was proof of toxic waste dumping and decided to discover the source, and at a friends house we once found an old shed on the property beside hers and inside it was a paper mache horse head so we decided that it was a mafia hide out and set traps and spied on for 2 days to see if we could catch the criminals red handed, lol. Those were some good times. I still can't figure out why there was a horse head in the shed though. That's just weird.
